Got it from the swedish importer, www.ilkebike.se
It´s a bit on the heavy side, coil spring etc but it´s no biggie. It´s like a RS totem. I used to run a RS Lyric Solo Air. I havent had any chance to try it yet. To much snow and ice in sweden at the moment..

tbh, i do see what you mean with the single pivot thing. i guess if we were to be perfectly technical, itd be single pivot with a 4-bar linkage assembly
I just go by 4-bar as thats what its labelled as, and what kona is generally known for. peace

look mate, go on kona's site and it will tell you EVERYWHERE about how much they pride themselves on their 4-Bar linkage which is why they use it on all their fs bikes. it also says of how it doesnt need to have a horst link to still be 4-bar, as the horst link only affects the virtical wheel path by a few millimeters, which is nothing as far as actual bike feel goes. Dont talk me down like a kid ok? i may be 15 aye, and your 20, or so your profile says anyway; but im going by what the Kona engineers tell me, not what some self-rightous moron tries shouting down to me on an internet forum. im not the one calling it the 4-bar linkage in the first place, im merely going by what is stated by the engineers. if you have an issue, then take it up with Kona, not me, because trying to talk me down like you would a child is only going to waste your breath

its still vpp though. the stab has had many different rocker lengths etc to change the stroke length and the geo. i think a better example would have been Orange bikes but i guess its too late now
I know the 06 team rigs had a shoter eye-to-eye length on the shocks, the standard is 9.5, mine (one of fabiens spare bikes) at least is only 9inch (still with the 3inch stroke) which compleatly changes the feel and geo of the bike. as for the linkage itself, its always remained the same Kona: 4-bar, Santa Cruz: VPP, Orange: Single Pivot;
thats what i was meaning, the linkage designs, not the geo/stroke ratio of the frames (which usually alters year in year out with the different set-ups etc)
